Who handles your information
UKCountyMap.co.uk is operated by Andrew Scott / GB Maps, 5 The Rise, Thornton-le-Dale, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7TG. For privacy enquiries, email andrew@gbmaps.com.
What the form collects
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and a description of your map. It also identifies the page or sample that prompted your enquiry. We use this information to respond, prepare a quote and discuss the work you have asked about. Please send only a short project description at this stage.
Email, hosting and retention
Enquiries are sent to our business email through our hosting service. Our email and hosting providers process information as needed to operate those services. We keep correspondence for the enquiry and any resulting project, and retain business records where required. You can ask about or request deletion of your enquiry by emailing us.
Cookies and abuse prevention
This rebuilt site uses an essential session cookie to protect the contact form and prevent duplicate submissions. Short-lived request counts are used to limit automated abuse. The site does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics or a mailing-list subscription.
Links to other sites
Links to GBMaps tools and products open services with their own privacy information. Those services are not loaded merely by viewing this site.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to discuss how it is used. Some information may need to be retained for an ongoing contract or legal obligation. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
